A delicious autumn pie; pumpkin is my weakness.. :)


  • For the sheets:
  • 7 spoons milk
  • 7 spoons oil
  • 7 spoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 14 oz (400g) flour
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • For the stuffing:
  • 53 oz (1.5kg) grated pumpkin
  • 1 cup sugar
  • vanilla sugar


Step 1

The stuffing: In a saucepan, mix the grated pumpkin with the sugar and the vanilla sugar. Fry until the pumpkin becomes soft, stirring from time to time.

Step 2

The sheets: in a pan, boil for a few minutes the milk, the oil and the sugar; let them cool off. Add 1 egg, the bicarbonate and vinegar mixture and the flour; knead until the dough is homogeneous.

Step 3

Place half of the dough in a trey as an even sheet; over it, add the pumpkin mixture and, on top, the rest of the dough as another sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes at 175C / 350F.

Step 4

When ready, decorate with powder sugar and cut it in squares.
