Ingredients
- FOR THE DOUGH
- 300 gr of flour
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 150 ml of milk
- pinch of salt
- FOR THE FILLING
- 300 gr of fresh spinach
- 1 green onion
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 150 gr of feta cheese
- 100 ml of sour cream
- 50 gr of grated cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of semonela
- basil
- thyme
- salt
- pepper
- GREASING
- 1 egg
- cheese
Method
Step 1
For the spinach pie with feta cheese and sour cream mix the flour with salt, dry yeast, add oil and milk gradually, knead until we get a smooth and elastic dough. Cover the result and leave it aside for 40 minutes.
Step 2
Wash the spinach leaves under running cold water, then scald the leaves about 3 minutes with boiling water with salt. Chop the green onion and fry it with chopped spinach and 1 tablespoon of butter.
Step 3
Leave it to cool then mix well with crumbled feta and grated cheese , well beaten eggs, 1 teaspoon of semolina, spice it by taste.
Step 4
Stretch the dough into round sheet, place it in the tray (and walls) greased with oil and dusted with flour. Prick the dough with a fork in several places then pour the filling.
Step 5
Cut the extra dough (but leave some to bring it over the filling) . The rest of the dough I stretched it back and I cut it strips that I placed over the filling
Step 6
Beat the egg well then pour it over and add grated cheese on top.
Step 7
Put the tray with spinach pie , feta and sour cream in the oven at medium heat until is nicely browned ( about 40-50 minutes ).
